This Privacy Policy explains how PopuDog ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use PicBool – Photo Editor & Collage Maker ("PicBool" or the "App"). It applies to the Android version of PicBool and the related privacy page.
1. Information handled by PicBool
Photos and editing data
PicBool accesses only the photos you select through the Android system photo picker or create using the camera after you choose that action. The App processes photos, editing parameters, previews, drafts, and exported images locally on your device.
Optional Google Sign-In information
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may provide PicBool with your Google account identifier, display name, email address, and profile photo URL. PicBool uses this information only to complete sign-in, restore the sign-in state on your device, and show your account information in the App.
Google Sign-In is optional. PicBool currently has no account backend, cloud sync, or cross-device account service. We do not store your Google profile information or Google ID token on a PicBool-operated server. Authentication communications are exchanged with Google and may be retained by Google or your device according to their own practices.
Analytics, advertising, and diagnostics
The current version of PicBool does not include advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs and does not use an advertising identifier. If we introduce analytics, advertising, cloud processing, or other collection in a future release, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required before that processing begins.
2. Device permissions
- Photos: Android's system photo picker lets you grant access only to items you select. PicBool does not request broad access to your photo library.
- Camera: Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a new photo. Denying camera access does not remove your existing editing work.
- Storage and sharing: When you choose to save or share an export, Android handles the destination or opens the system share sheet. Apps you choose to share with process the exported image under their own privacy practices.
3. How information is used
Information described above is used to:
- import, edit, preview, save, and share photos at your direction;
- maintain local editing state and recoverable drafts;
- authenticate an optional Google sign-in and display the signed-in profile; and
- protect the reliability and security of the App.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Because PicBool does not operate a photo or account backend in the current version, we do not disclose your photos or Google profile information from such a backend. Information may nevertheless be handled in these limited situations:
- Google: if you initiate Google Sign-In, Google processes the authentication request and returns the profile fields described above.
- Apps you select: an exported image is sent to another app only when you choose that app from the Android share sheet.
- Legal and safety: we may preserve or disclose information in our possession if required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of PicBool. In the current version, we ordinarily do not possess your locally stored photos or projects.
5. Storage, retention, and deletion
Photos, drafts, editing settings, previews, caches, and exports are stored locally on your device. They remain until you delete them using PicBool or Android, clear applicable app data, or uninstall the App. Images exported outside PicBool may remain in your gallery or another app after PicBool is uninstalled.
Signing out clears the PicBool Google sign-in session but does not delete local photos, drafts, or exports. You can manage or revoke PicBool's Google access from your Google Account connections. Because there is currently no PicBool account backend, PicBool does not retain a server-side account record for you to delete.
6. Security
PicBool is designed to reduce privacy risk by keeping photo processing on your device and limiting permissions. Google authentication uses Android's supported identity services. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Google account.
7. Children's privacy
PicBool is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.
8. Your choices
- Use PicBool's local editing tools without signing in.
- Decline camera access and continue using photos selected from the system picker.
- Sign out of Google from the App or revoke access through your Google Account.
- Delete local app data using PicBool or Android device settings.
- Choose whether and where to save or share exported images.
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may provide additional rights. Because the current version does not maintain a PicBool server-side account or photo store, requests concerning locally stored content generally must be completed on your device.
9. Third-party services and links
Google and any app or website you choose to open are governed by their own privacy terms. We encourage you to review the Google Privacy Policy. PicBool is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
10. International processing
PicBool's photo processing occurs on your device. If you use Google Sign-In or another external service at your direction, that provider may process information in countries other than your own under its privacy policy and applicable safeguards.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when PicBool's features or data practices change. We will publish the revised policy at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how personal information is handled, we will provide additional notice in the App when required.
